"The Architect, pt. 1" (acoustic)

Back in early 2021, I had an idea to make a music series based off of Richard Linklater’s “Before Trilogy”…which is a series of 3 films aptly titled “Before Sunrise”, “Before Sunset”, and “Before Midnight”. They are a series that follow Jesse and Celine as they meet each other on a train going across Europe in the first film, reconnect 9 years later in the second film, and then showing their story another 9 years down the road in the final film. The movies were actually filmed 9 years apart so no only do 9 years pass in the story, but in real time as well.

The goal was to make 3 EP’s, each a length of 3 songs, and name each of them “Sunrise”, “Sunset”, and “Midnight”. Although…I wasn’t going to take 9 year intervals between releases…ha. I released “Sunrise” in 2021, and “Sunset” released in 2024. The goal will be for “Midnight” to come out in 2027 and I already have two of the 3 songs written for it. The last song I have to write for “Midnight” is “The Architect, pt. 3”. There is a story that ties all 3 of these projects together, just as the films follow the same story with the same two characters. A way to symbolize the symbiosis that runs between these three collections of songs is the character of the Architect. On the first EP, there is a song called “The Architect, pt. 1”…on the second EP there is part two, and on the third will be the conclusion in part three…I just haven’t figured out the conclusion yet…
